The bishop boss just one shotted me

Don't stand close to bishop :)
He can shoots multiply projectiles in line and each one deal around 40 dmg so it might look like he one shoots you but he didn't. Keep the distance and you will be fine. Crux forcefield upgrade can also be very helpfull with him.

Each projectile doing 40 damage and hitting you within 0.5 seconds so that it 'looks like you got one shotted' is bad design IMO, this was the easiest difficulty, after spending like 45 minutes doing the crusades and building HP so that I felt tankier, only seeing my HP getting taken down by like 10% by everything else - getting killed that fast feels tremendously unrewarding.

I'd expect that kind of burst damage from a higher difficulty

I'm replaying the clip, I'm going around the boss in circles quickly as well, and this boss is just autolocking onto my movement and shotgunning all of my HP down immediately, I'd be fine with this if it was one of the higher difficulties but it's not. I'd reduce the number of projectiles or reduce the damage so that if you build a full HP build it doesn't feel completely useless.

The trick is stay away from the boss and you will be fine. he even has unique animations when he starts to cast its not instant. just stay at range.

This is 100% a skill issue.

I only ever died twice to that boss in the Beta before early acces before i learned to not stay in his face or he "shotguns" you with his ability.
