The game is fun . Trying different combinations makes you want to come back. Think about this like backpack battles with more depth. now the downside of this is the last boss. You can get through the whole game without losing once and get crushed at the end and the balancing of this game needs a little work. some archtypes just are not strong enough to survive to the end game. I would say pick this up on sale

Excellent gameplay. I love the art style. It definitely has challenges aplenty with the trinket system. My only gripe is that there isn't enough troop types. I feel like there needs to be more, especially unique to class troops. Playing between commanders gives unique pro's/con's but often only include 1 new troop type, which makes it feel like you basically play thru the same strategies too frequently. I LOVE this game, but am hoping additional content comes out, especially more troops!!!
