login screen and allow you to log into the game. BUT if it's a Steam game - it may not let you in.
So make sure by going to the website for ESO to check to see if you can log in there. Just an idea.

In all honesty I really can't remember... I think I tried it and it didn't work but

ESO has been unplayable now for four consecutive days. I get to the login page which takes about 2 minutes to reach from the ESO launcher page, before receiving the message, ' LOGIN ERROR Connection
described at the beginning of my post.


Please don't take offense if I choose to ignore comments related to login, from anyone not associated with ZOS, my internet service provider(National Broadband Network

once it has updated you have to quit out and then start as normal through steam or the login will not recognise you..because you are trying to log into Bethesda and they have segregated Steam created

option 3, but buy it on the official ESO website instead, allowing you to avoid the so common login problems that Steam users have been suffering from.

My choice would be option 4. I expect another ESO
