The Elder Scrolls Online

Game constantly crashing
So I'm still working on my first character, learning the game and all. But now it's getting to the point where every 5-20 minutes, my game crashes/freezes my computer. Not sure what I can do to fix this...

Computer specs:
i5 4690k
8gb ram
gtx 760

I'm not running any mods/add-ons either...

Ive been experiencing the same thing and sent a ticket to ESO support, I tried everything. If your running a 64bit system you might have to wait until they release a 64 bit client. I cant see any major fixes being pumped out for now......
try playing through ESO launcher instead of STEAM/ESO launcher. if you don't crash, then steam is the problem. This game DOES NOT require STEAM to run. Steam only offers STEAM OVERLAY and trackable hours, that's it. not worth running another DRM when only 1 is needed.

have you run a REPAIR through the ESO launcher, you should try this first, you may be missing a file or two. NEVER verify Integrity of game cache with STEAM. Do a repair with ESO launcher this will VERITY the full game. STEAM only handles BASE game content.
1.) I don't run it through steam, I launch it from the ESO launcher.
2.) I have done the repair through the ESO launcher, doesn't seem to have made a difference.

I can see the 64-bit issue by @IronBeastX. Although I can't get out of the game to check task-manager, but according to my system overlay, as I approach approximately 2gb of ram for ESO is when I crash. I start with 3gb (1 of which is to ESO), once I approach 4gb I crash/freeze..

They better fix it, I waited a year to buy the game because its well.. BETHESDA... which means CRAPTASTIC quality at launch. Please tell me I didn't waste $70 on another broken bethesda game.
I'm just saying the fix might take a while because they just recently patched the game....

and there's upcoming changes as well
I may of just found something out that may help to fix or reduce your crashing I have done this with great success of playing for about 2-3hours and no crash. Change in the usersettings.file GraphicsDriver.7 "D3D9" to GraphicsDriver.7 "D3D11.Dll" also in game settings turn off ambient occulsion and reduce all the particle settings. These are all the settings I have recently modified and seams to have fixed or patched temporarily some of the problems for now.....
Ok NVM this fix extented the amount of time I can play for a bit but still crashing......
I found more info talking about the upcoming patch and why we might be crashing after a certain amount of time

Back your graphics settings down in the game. Until I did that, I couldn't play 2 minutes in Whrothgar or Elden Root. Haven't crashed since.
I've lowered the settings, I changed the graphics.7 call in the ini file to dx9, opengl, and dx11 all to no avail. I currently play on the LOWEST settings possible, with all particle effects turned to the minimum and I can now play for about 2-3 minutes. It's getting progressively worse, especially if I leave the starting map (auridion) and go to Elden Root. There I crash before my character even fully loads.

I will attempt to change the dx11d call to dx11.dll and see if that helps anything but I'm highly doubting it.
LOL, well that change did NOT help.. Now the main screen doesn't even load.
64 bit releases with thieves guild dlc and base game update on march 7th
POTATO COMPUTER!
