Depends. You need to collect 40 event tickets across 4 different events, one being the Clockwork DLC event: if you don't own that DLC (or you're not running the ESO+), you will need to maximize the tickets collection in the other 3. For example: the current Witches Festival lets you collect up to 15 tickets. As soon as you have 10, you will need to trade in for the first feather, as ZO decided to put a fancy "12" as maximum number of tickets you can store. In doing so, you will have 5 tickets ready to go for the next event.

BTW, I believe the x/12 is forward planning, because the Undaunted Event end of November gives 3 tickets per qualifying activity, and if it was x/10 we'd lose 2 tickets every 4th activity.

The 15 tickets for now is possible, but I think only if you min max the 20 hour cool down which ugh not happening for me. I got my emerald feather, and I will continue to grab event tickets until they go away but I won't set an alarm for it, that way lies madness for me!

It's because they want players to spend the tickets, not hoard them. So when you get your 10, buy the feather, reset to 0/10 and keep going. If you're not interested in the indrik mount, you hold on to those 12 tickets until whatever future use ZOS has planned for them shows up.

(You'll be in for a wait since that includes the evolution berries planned for the indrik LOL. ESO is Pokemon now hahahaha)

We're all here to get the mount. my "rant" is due to the fact that an "infinite" pool of tickets wouldn't harm anyone. Unless their upcoming November daily rewards (for the Murkmire DLC) are events tickets, but I doubt it.

And for those of us who have had their ability to play trashed with inability to log in -- and days and days of useless suggestions fromk ESO support -- the ticket cap is also meaningless, and the mount unobtainable. Ready to quit trying to fix -- taking way more time than anything should.
