especially when you get used to mow everything infront of you and then when you are just about to destroy everything in a dungeon, you get a crappy low level guy in your team that screws everything because either he cant tank properly so all aggro is on you, or a healer is incapable of healing so you die 10 times in a situation where you are not used to die at all; or you have a dd in the team that is pulling like 8k dps in a vet dungeon and makes every fight last 50% longer etc. etc. etc.
nobody hates you, it's just that you have to work your way up and you'll notice the difference
someone above said it's not the problem to survive but the problem is to do your role properly - and thats completely true.
the more you have to struggle to stay alive makes you put more effort in it and less in your role, which makes the group unbalanced
for example as a dd in a dungeon with a nice healer and a tank i dont use ANY shield or self-preservation skill/spell and can focus on my role and do really nice dps = everyone wins.
but when the tank is slacking or a healer, i cant go near without some kind of ward or surge to keep me alive when the mob starts focusing me, and ofcourse, using all that makes me do less dps which makes the fights last longer which leads to more possible deaths etc. :)
you shouldnt even attempt them until you have double your cp bc unless u know what ur doing ur dps will be lacking severely
You are obviously not geared and your DPS, i guess, is like 5-10k max. You can survive well (it's realy easy) but with your DPS you can't kill even mudcrab in ESO vet content. So what do you expect from registering to veteran dungeons? Be dragged by guys with DPS x5 higher than yours?
Not only that but you can't trade gear so it's less chance for your group members to get what they want.
I have had so many bad experiences with being grouped with low levels when I'm trying to farm a set. Having to wipe over and over and sometimes having to quit the dungeon half way through. It's just too annoying.
I don't like it when people are unnecessarily rude, but they also don't need to go out of their way to explain before kicking.
As for OP: Vet dungeons are supposed to be harder content. Being under 160 means you aren't correctly geared for them and you'll basically be forcing your group to carry you. I don't really understand why you simply don't do normals or gather mats and get a good set crafted... when you reach 160.
