2. GT7. lol
You guys are expecting waaaaay too much from this alpha/beta release.
If things are not working for you, yet. Just wait a few more weeks.
Give the devs some time to work out some more updates. Come back then, and witness the progress.
Why is everyone's response to his criticism of the graphics "it's a sim?" Since when is being a racing sim an excuse for subpar graphics? Some of you seem like you feel that since you gave Kunos $30 you owe them your undying loyalty. It's a video game. You don't owe it anything--they owe you. It's okay to be honest. The game looks like it's 10 years old. Lying to yourselves and trying to silence critical reviews isn't going to get it improved.
To all of the people moaning about criticism being invalid for EA games, how are the devs supposed to know how the community feels if diehard glazers want to silence anyone's criticism behind a wall of "just an EA" excuses?
This is what Kunos has written on ACE's webpage:
"As an Early Adopter, your feedback plays a key role in helping us improve Assetto Corsa EVO.
Your thoughts, suggestions, and reports on any issues you encounter are essential to our testing process. By sharing your experiences, you’re helping us identify areas for improvement, ensuring that we deliver the best possible game by the time of the full release. We’re excited to have you on board!"
But not many seem to understand.
PSVR 2 running very good and I'm car enthusiast, all GT7 car are accurate with history with every cars. Not only games in GT7 but photography in scape photo mode.
And you said arcade........... I think you need check your brain or you never play GT7...... sad
2/ Gt7 is most certainly an arcade sim/ a sim wannabe. Not to mention a console game.
1. Logitech Pro racing wheel
2. Playseat Trophy
3. TH8A
If you rich show to me, what your business hmmm. Don't be arrogant kid, my business are truck transport in Indonesia. And you what? comment in here :)
Maybe you billionaire or millionaire... rich not games enthusiast just play in rest time. Hmmmm...
And close this thread, no value debate in gaming thread, waste time.
You cannot really watch GT7 content on youtube because first of all there is no well made capture equipment for that console and second, 4K Bitrate on youtube doesnt even match a HD Ready (720p) Blue Ray movie natively from 2008 or sth...
There is only one way to experience the Graphics and appreciate colors on Gran Turismo 7 and thats literally purchasing a well made HDR screen of OLED type with a proper HDR Label on it and a PS5.
The stuff that you see on youtube is a washed out mess, not even remotely close to what you actually see. Even the most expensive capture cards are made by unprofessional people that have never heard of a good looking photo or camera to begin with, the colors are literally a result of that terrible equipment of these companies.
A good youtuber will always tell you that in a graphics comparison, a clueless person doesnt even know about it.
The thing what makes GT7 actually a superior looking product compared to AC:Evo is literally the professional level of performance optimization it ships with.
They have an enormous amount of different Level of Details so you would never experience LoD Pop in or Pop outs like AC:E or any other non professionally made Sim Engine suffers from.
The transition between high details and lower details are just damn smooth in GT7.
And for some graphics do not matter, thats true but that doesnt mean they are at a majority there, because the majority wants a good looking picture since it also adds to atmosphere and that adds towards the amount of fun in total.
At the end of the day simply one thing is for sure and that is: NO Sim is any perfect at all or acting like Reallife, none of them. They are just close to it.
Like for that reason i still do not even own a manual shifter, its just unrealistic piece of plastic that doesnt simulate the gearchange inside the transmission accordingly. Like the moment you feel that minor resistance untill the gear finaly slips in nice and easy... not going to get that feel at all in a "Simulation".
Gran Turismo 7 suffers from 4 problems and that is the Controller Support which makes driving easy like Cheating, the non existent penalty system that makes it rather "The Real Wreckless Driving Simulator" instead of anything else and the lack of a punishing car damage model in Online Mode and as point 4, its the BOP Balance, some cars of today are literally Cheating 3.0 and render every other car useless and they dont do a thing about it.
So in short the Online Experience, the competition of GT7 is a complete mess but for pure Singleplayer and immersion, appreciating detail work, it is simply the best game on the entire market.
