Force feedback
For me wheel FF is not much communicative, i'm heavily relying on muscle memory so far.

Driving the Honda S2000 i can't feel much nor he front nor the rear end. Which is pretty strange as that's a little and quite lively car.

Even curbs and braking give very little feedback to me.

Is it just me? Fanatec CSL DD 8nm here.
BTW: Played almost all the sims of the last 25 yrs, including AC and ACC of course (and loved them).

I'm hoping they add tooltips for all these settings. I'm just turning stuff down till it feels right. So far I have it where I want it... I think lol. Freaking loving this game so far damn. They really nailed the sense of speed. Also how sound is propagated around you depending if you're near a wall or not. :)

Flunninoc hi i also use the DD2 but i have plenty of force feed back i also set my settings in the wheel to 60 FF. send me a message and i can try and relate my settings

Hi i also use a DD2 but i am having noo issue with FFB i have my wheel set at 50. make sure its not to low some wont see the low FFB.

Does anybody even know what all these settings really do? 3 different damper settings, speed sensitive stuff, steering assist weight??! I wish there was a little tool tip explanation in the menu or something. It feels mushy and not much different no matter how I adjust. I'm not even sure all these sliders are even working yet in this version.
Edit: This is from Fanatecs forum.

Steering Lock Sets = the wheel's rotation range (e.g., 900° for realism).

FFB Gain = Adjusts overall force feedback strength.

Dynamic Damping = Adds resistance based on speed, making the wheel heavier at high speeds.

Minimum Damper = Sets a baseline resistance for a consistent feel.

Damper Gain = Adds resistance from environmental effects like tire drag.

TrueForce Gain = Adds vibrations linked to car audio (for Logitech TrueForce wheels).

Speed Sensitivity = Reduces steering response at high speeds for stability.

Steering Filter = Smooths steering inputs for less jittery feedback.

Steering Assist Weight = Controls how much assistance helps your steering.

Vibrations = Adjusts how strong road and surface vibrations feel.

The bottom 4 settings sound like settings for a control pad. I'll put this at zero then. The minimum damper still confuses me, if I put it to zero, will that mean the cancel out the other 2 damper settings? I'll have to tinker around. Thanks for the info.

Minimal damper is confusing me aswell, been tinkering with it for 2 hours now.
I agree on the 4 lower settings.
Dynamic damper feels nice when u gain some speed. mayby keep it at 10-30%

same here. Moza R9. With F1 style wheel, it is a little more good. But with normal car (round) wheel, i don<t feel much . I try many combination, but i beleive it is really a game thing. Not much about setting.

fanatec dd 8nm i have zero ffb at all i know it works but zero clue to what the tires are doing
Ensetsu 1 月 18 日 下午 7:37
After some hours testing i went back to start and acualy these settings seems best for me at moment.

Fanatec Csl 8nm:
Sensitivity: Auto
FFB: 90% Peak (Kunos recommend to keep it between 7-8 Nm)
NDP: 15%
NFR: 5%
NIN: Off
Int: 2
FEI: 100
FOR: 100
SPR: 100
DPR: 100

EVO Ingame:
Steering Lock: 1080
FFB Gain: 80%
Dynamic Damping: 40% (shall not be raised over 40)
Minimum Damper: 0%
Damper Gain: 20%
TrueForce: 0
Speed Sensitivity: 0
Steering Filter: 0
Steering Assist Weight: 0
Vibrations: 90% (recommended was to low for me)

Some recommend setting with steering assist and such.
I just say no to everything like that. this is kinda like kunos recommend.
i just turned off a few things, adjusted FFB and raised vibrations to get some more curb feel.

I think FFB needs more work from kunos side but i think i will stick with this for now

Based on the Kunos description, minimum damper sounds like a software version of Fanatec NDP.

i turned all steering assist and dampening to 0 in the settings

I finally realize , for me at least it is extremely un balance from one car to another. Tey the mercedes, i can almost feel the car door lock. Ok, ok... i exagerated :) but it is really different on other car.

Maybe they didnt put same love to tweak ffb on each car ?

Has anyone watched the video on YouTube and agrees with its content?

Im using the Fanatec DD Pro 5Nm base and have it on Autosetup (AS) i feel the Honda S2000 just nice and easy.
What i do not feel is the AMG GTS2, its just dead

Sounds like too much gain -> clipping all the time

Yes, minimum damper is NDP in fanatec drivers and dynamic damping is DPR. It is better to have these settings enabled either in the game or in fanatec drivers.
