nah the last official mention of it was something something "we are hoping for a 2023 release"
So I'd start looking towards the end of october but Id guess maybe around nov 20-25 barring a bunch of final delays.
Yeah I kinda hope they announce it pretty early so I can schedule it out and try to go through a full play through of 1-4 and wrap up that up right when 5 drops.
Wait a second... is there paid DLC out, but the base game *still* is not done? I'd have to check my purchase history, but I think it's going on 8 years now.
I was about to fire it up again (finally) to play through the story. Can someone confirm if the story is actually complete or if this post is just a joke?
"Episode Five is also still firmly on our radar; I currently anticipate a 2023 release, but we won’t have much to say about that for the rest of this year. There’s a lot of story to tell, and a lot of threads to tidy up, before we close the chapter on the epic survival journey of Mackenzie, Astrid, and the other survivors of the Quiet Apocalypse."
At this time, we are likely trending toward a late 2023/early 2024 release, though we don't have a set date. Each Episode requires a substantial amount of planning and work, and this next Episode also closes out the WINTERMUTE story. We aren't postponing it due to lack of care for our WINTERMUTE community -- quite the opposite. As Raph said, there's a lot to tell, and we don't want to rush the process.
hey, if you reading me, just put a village sourounding by the void and the winter
turn that into a survival game(like surviving one day more after the last...)
there is nowhere to go, just survive wolf, cold, bear, food, water...
the town as full of ressources, but it's running out fast...because you need to replenish the stock, otherwise you die fast
but please, finish the main story and place any DLC after that
At this rate, I don't think they know where the story was going.
Two story merge into one and happy ending, end of the story(we are happy) and let's them continue to a survivale or maybe a long dark 2(because money rule life and they need too to make beautyfull games)
look vampire survivor, the game master make a game so easy and playable with castelvania rethinked...(and make a masterpiece, replayable again and again...)for a verry little cheap price
The Tales From The Far Territories DLC is optional, and affects Survival Mode only. You don't need it for Wintermute, and it changes nothing in Wintermute. There are no new achievements attached to the TFTFT DLC.
The latest news about Wintermute Episode 5 is in the December Dev Diary (found in the News tab here on the forums):

Hinterland have done a great job though your post makes you sound proper disappointed without giving it a chance in the first place
