Seriously? You pay the artist to let you use their music in your game then the artist files a copyright claim when somebody makes a video of the game?

Talk to You Tube? It's their policy. I don;t think Hinterland has any issues with actual gameplay streams that have the game's music in them. But You Tube has gone a bit ballistic with checking tracks against copyrighted songs or tracks.

It's just the one song with vocals at the start of the Episode, not the ambient music.

I was hoping somebody would reply with "O you can just contact Hinterland about that they'll remove that copyright claim" which is what happened with another game I recorded.

Hello! Not sure exactly which part of the into was the issue. If it was the opening credits that uses the First Aid Kit song, "The Lion's Roar" -- we only have the rights to use it in the game. So if this is being flagged, it's because the copyright holder of the music does not want to have it streamed. It has nothing to do with is, and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it. The best thing you could do is just exclude the opening credits in your video.

Youtube drives me nuts with this for all kinds of games. Even when I'm just making a bug report... they flag it for copyright infringement. Their automatic scanning system is ... overzealous.
