Being able to take off your backpack
There have been many a-times when I have been lugging 20+ kilos of bear/moose meat/hide/gut, have had to go up a hill and after spending quite some time going up said hill running into a wolf, and due to the large amount of wieght on me, I can't run away (I know there are other ways to deal with wolves, but sometimes running is the best option). I think it would be great if you could take off your backpack so you could quickly scout around corners/hills. It would also be cool if you could pick up other backpacks (althought only equip one at a time, you would have to carry the backpack kind've like a lantern) so you could put your hunting gear in one, your looting gear in another and so on so you could have ready to go packs instead of having to constantly add/remove stuff from just one. If this was done, I'd like it to be done properly so when you dropped it if you had a bedroll it would be connected to your backpack at the bottem (like in the picture below) and if you had a rifle it would be connected to the side.

Look at the bedroll under the backpack:

*before anyone tells me to put this in the wishlist section, I have, I just want as many opions/ideas on this as possible*

(They’ll move it to wishlist anyways :D)
I thought bout that as well, it would make movement in houses a lot easier... you just drop your heavily overloaded backpack by the door after you had to get through a blizzard and just build a fire in the stove... eat and drink a bit and fall into bed... just sort your stuff next day... :D

And once my back pack is off please allow me to lower and raise it with the climbing ropes.

Yes VERY COOL indeed......Good wish list item, as diver the need to remove your tank underwater and re-equip is is essential in cave diving or wreck diving. Backpack removl and hauling it up after you is a GREAT idea devs......

Alreadly on wish list as well as a separate drop back suggestion.

That sounds like an amazing idea! Plus, certain backpacks would probably let you carry more or less than others, which would give us some more variety/stuff to look for :)

This. Please.

Let us start with no backpack on Interloper and be limited to our jeans pockets, and we can find a decent amount of mediocre fanny packs and such, or small daypacks, or big hiking backpacks, or the ultra-rare super limited only like two every game military rucksack.

I'd also love a sort of Volume system like CDDA or something similar, where along with weight, and item can also just be too big to add to our stock. You could have a ton of really light stuff, and not be able to add in a stack of papers, not because they're too heavy, but because they're too bulky. Some packs hold less, some hold more, than others.

Really nice suggestion here.

Especially the ability to have multiple backpack ready for different task, depending on what you are going to do.

It's a good idea to have a diffrient pack and such, a diffrient pack for a diffrient amount of weight, but guys, our character can already hold unlimited LBS! I was recently at the TWM summit and I was holding 350+ pounds of gear. Sure I couldn't move, but he was still holding 350 pounds! (That's actaully not too bad. Sure I couldn't carry it, but that's not actaully super bad.)

So I feel like adding diffrient packs would be a moot point.
