The dying mechanic.
I've never seen something so annoying. The prolonged stumbling around without being able to just do a quick reload. Great mechanic for sure. Makes the game tons of fun...

You can almost always save yourself if you take the right steps - I survived a dip down to 1% Condition (in Survival). The stumbling around portion gives you that opportunity.

If you're talking about Story - yes I can see that being a problem because you're not given the tools to save yourself, or even a nice high cliff to fling yourself from.

It's a survival game. I think the point is to try not to die. Learn from your mistakes and you'll be rewarded.

See, it seems almost buggy to me. Right infront of the church there is a wolf, and it attacked me so i started bleeding and had a few injuries. Well I went into the church and had to craft bandages (used them to heal earlier in the game) and because my condition was already really low, when I crafted bandages the time it took brought it down to like 1%. Well I wasnt really losing health by then, I still had to heal so I started the fire and cooked some tea. The thing is though, the stumbling is really weird, and I managed to get myself in a corner where I wouldnt stumble around so I could use the fire, but for some reason whenever I got out of the fire I would just stumble some random derection and I went straight over the fire, burning myself then dying because of it. It happens EVERY time and theres no way to avoid it.

I mean if you ask me getting nearly killed by a wold seems like a good enough reason to be stumbling around, even if you rested just an hour to heal it would have been better.

Humans dont do this though, infact it would be more excruciatingly painful to be launching yourself meters of distance at a time rather then just becomming slower and "fading into the long dark" Not "flying in the long dark" :torielsad:

Silliest mechanic ever built into a game.

Saw a bank robber doing the exact same type of stumbling trying to make his way to the door, which of course was locked as he appeared to drunkenly try to open it before collapsing, so yea it's a pretty accurate depiction of what can happen.

You are talking about Ryan Gosling bleeding out on the steps as snow falls, that's a movie good sir.
