Morimens

At the moment, I need one or more translation teams for this game
As the title says, I'm a new player, currently level 36, but I'm very interested in the plot, if it weren't for using chatgpt to translate from my country's original language, Chinese, to Vietnamese. I would honestly say that there are many segments of the game that can make the player feel more touching than strange and horrifying words. Many times I had to rearrange the words in each line while playing. Even though I could still understand the context of the character, it was too rough. The gacha is really good, the character design is also good, but the translation part... really needs translation teams, this can also happen to players from other countries.

Hopefully one day. The dev team is a really small team and EoS almost happened just after anniversary. They have lots of plans for the 2.X update and is currently swamped with lots of things for future contents they are going to push out so this is not likely going to happen yet.

damn, hope the Devs will continue with the game. Reminds of the Devs from Soultide, they are also a Small Team and continue supporting the game.
yeah you really need a complex prompt with strict rules when you translate Mandarin with chat GPT, in English the prompt has to contain a complete list of all characters and their genders or the translation becomes confusing when a character's name is translated in three different ways or the machine otherwise forgets who is being written about.

Ye, the complex prompt is called "Look at the translation and see if you can fix the sentences to be more readable and comprehensive"

no that's the prompt for human translators, chat GPT isn't that smart

I literally used it multiple times this way to rephrase sentences and make them sound better. Like, I straight up don't know what half the sentences in the story are saying, cause they are closer to a haiku than they are to anything else. Feed one of those into ChatGPT and tell him to make it sound good and it will rephrase the whole thing so it at least makes sense.

At least you can kinda figure out the mechanics with trial and error, even though I have still no clue why the Blood % bar sometimes charges 30% and sometimes 40% per turn.

there are places where chatGPT has used multiple different names to explain a single gameplay mechanic, this could have been avoided by having a prompt with a list of Chinese words that always have to be translated the same way every time.

even in the story you occasionally get names of people or places that change for no reason.

for some reason the names "poor house", "alms house", "asylum", and "orphanage" all describe the same location, chat GPT needs a complex prompt to remind it to always translate names the same way every time, because otherwise it will start getting weird.

I would make translation better, sure, but I would already be happy with readable sentences. Which can be done by simply asking it to proof-read what it spit out.
