A. Find a 10x loot server
B. Find a server with less people
C. Find a server that has a regent loot plugin for the admin
D. Don’t do multiplayer survival and become one of those ROLEPLAY KIDS (bad idea)
And yes, this game is very similar to rust accept this has zombies that don’t do anything and it has actually developed cities and towns.
It has been quite some time since I played Rust, so tkae that for what its worth, but I would like ot think it still holds at least some merrit.
I’d say the building is the closest function to that of rust, most other things have a fair number of differences.
Depending on the map, server config, etc, Firearms may be more difficult to find. It seems that servers deal with items in a different way than that of single player, making it harder to find items or higher grade loot in general.
Loot will respawn and despawn at any time, it doesn't matter how close other players are. I've had countless times where an item has suddenly appeared or even disappeared right in front of me.
This game is nothing like Rust, it's a completely different, quicker-paced and less grindy style.
Try to find a Vanilla server. Servers with Rocket, the main plugin, usually have crappy rules like "No KOS" (Which means "no kill on sight". It basically means you're not allowed to shoot people when you see them, which means you can't fight anyone since landing the first shot usually counts as killing them on sight to the idiot administrators.) and have the loot spawns severely reduced, and like said before the only way to actually get items is to pay real money to the server owners for it.
Making an online public server is extremely annoying with port forwarding and stuff, but making an LAN server for playing with real life friends is relatively easy.
