Opening cut scene is fine until the doors and thereafter. The voval overdub goes out of sync then the game is running the commonly described slow-motion manner. It's unplayable with any combinations between game and card settings, though some changes make it slightly smoother than others. Haven't gone beyond saving in the dining hall do to this.

Not sure what to do
I played this morning to test it, and everything went fine. Now that I'm back home and starting from scratch, I'm having SERIOUS lag issues. I'm pretty sure my PC is up to the task of running this game even at 60fps, even though I rather run it at 30 for a more "cinematic" or classic effect. Tried lowering everything. Problem still persists. Usually happens during cutscenes, when entering a new room or after checking the inventory and can last up to 6 to 7 seconds. Can't play this game as it is. RE4 Ultimate HD had a very similar problem but not as bad as with this game.

B) Specific issue
Game slows down to 2fps randomly and constantly only during gameplay.
C) Detailed reproduction steps, if consistently reproducible
Started the game as Jill and everything went fine, as soon as I could control her it was at 2fps, grabbed the ink ribbon on the table and then the game was normal at more than 50fps. Aproached chris and the cutscene played fine, back controlling Jill and was at 2fps again, walked towards the typewriter and when the camera changed the game was back normal. In another playthrough I loaded a save from the dining room, the game was normal, grabbed the emblem at the fireplace and walked to the clock, opened the map and closed it and the game was at 2fps again.
