We all hope that. Haven't got this game on Steam though, can't wait to play this with mods.
Wait till you play it in 60fps, it's like a whole new game.

Here's what you should do (tried and tested);
Load your cleared game data and start 'Once Again' mode, do your next run-through but don't save over your 'cleared game' save, and then when you complete that run-through, save on a seperate slot to the first 'cleared game' save.
Just save each 'cleared game' on a new save slot, and then when you eventually unlock One Dangerous Zombie mode, you can then go back to any previous clear game file to finish your achievements without the hassle of ODZ.
Ahem, not a bad advice. Sure thing that weapons and unlocks won't be available for the other character, but they will be available for the character you did that.
I made this advice this way as a easy, memorable way, to avoid ODZ.
Mostly because HD releases of Capcom games have save-file problems.
By that I mean, they use one big save data on your system, so you can't really just delete the data by yourself, and in-game, there's no delete option for each save-file, and the number for it is somehow limited. Which is a major problem in some games.
If you don't be organized before making your first save data, it's just get worse and worse.
In RE HD Remix, my save data goes as followed, in terms of organization:
There's 8 Slots for saving.
1st slot is made for Jill's cleared data.
2nd to 4th slots for other Jill's playthroughs.
5th is for Chris' cleared data.
6th to 8th slots for other Chris' playthroughs.
And on this way, achievement progress still works. Unlocked gallery movies still have endings, even though you're using another character.
Making that mode into a default game-status after you unlocked some stuff was a bad game development idea.
Not everyone enjoys ODZ. So respect those who doesn't.
