One Dangerous Zombie Mode, word of Advice.
This here is a word of advice for people that are probably familiar with the GC version (or not), and was hoping Capcom to sorta "fix" that option.

Make sure you have separated save-files for this game, so that you don't end up messing up your save file.

"Why should I care about that?"

Welp, One Dangerous Zombie mode is likely, a "complete easter-egg/f*** up" gamemode made by Capcom. It can be avoided by being smart with the save file.

All you have to do after you finish the game, and have a cleared data, don't start a new game on "Once Again" mode with the other character (i.e. Completed with Jill, go on Once Again with Chris).

Most people (save for a few) don't like this gamemode. It would be cool if it was just an extra gameplay option, like Invisible Enemy Mode. Basically, this secret gamemode makes Forest (OH MY COOOD!!) follow you around during the first part of the game, in a similar way to Nemesis from RE3.

"Why is that a bad thing?"

Unlike the best character of RE3, Forest is wearing a grenade vest. If you attack him, he literally blows up and kills you and everything around you. Instant game-over.

I really hope this was helpful.

EDIT: I quit! Can't stand these people around here! The Police Department is more peaceful than this thread!

yeah I made that mistake :/ I forgot it wasn't a togglable option but oh well, maybe a future mod can 'fix' it :)

We all hope that. Haven't got this game on Steam though, can't wait to play this with mods.

Wait till you play it in 60fps, it's like a whole new game.

Interesting. I completed Jill and then loaded up Chris on the same file. Completed and there was no ODZ mode. I assume you complete them both and then start again on the same file?

Do i have to get all the unlockable guns again with chris or load up my Jill save so the menu changes then simply pick Chris and save using a seperate save slot

I like this, it adds an extra challenge. It doesn't need to be "fixed". Stop being weak!

I am not being weak >.> I am fine with it just every once in a while I would like to just do a fun playthrough with the OP weapons, no need to try just go through it for the hell of it, when I want to really play the game I would be totally fine with that I mean I just finished a chris hard mode speed fun like 20 minutes ago X'D

Straight up bad advice by OP. If you don't start 'Once Again' mode after you clear a game, your costume/weapon unlocks won't roll over to the new game.

Here's what you should do (tried and tested);

Load your cleared game data and start 'Once Again' mode, do your next run-through but don't save over your 'cleared game' save, and then when you complete that run-through, save on a seperate slot to the first 'cleared game' save.

Just save each 'cleared game' on a new save slot, and then when you eventually unlock One Dangerous Zombie mode, you can then go back to any previous clear game file to finish your achievements without the hassle of ODZ.

Ahem, not a bad advice. Sure thing that weapons and unlocks won't be available for the other character, but they will be available for the character you did that.
I made this advice this way as a easy, memorable way, to avoid ODZ.

Mostly because HD releases of Capcom games have save-file problems.
By that I mean, they use one big save data on your system, so you can't really just delete the data by yourself, and in-game, there's no delete option for each save-file, and the number for it is somehow limited. Which is a major problem in some games.
If you don't be organized before making your first save data, it's just get worse and worse.

In RE HD Remix, my save data goes as followed, in terms of organization:
There's 8 Slots for saving.
1st slot is made for Jill's cleared data.
2nd to 4th slots for other Jill's playthroughs.
5th is for Chris' cleared data.
6th to 8th slots for other Chris' playthroughs.

And on this way, achievement progress still works. Unlocked gallery movies still have endings, even though you're using another character.

No one is being weak. Sometimes we just want to enjoy the game slowly.
Making that mode into a default game-status after you unlocked some stuff was a bad game development idea.
Not everyone enjoys ODZ. So respect those who doesn't.
