Why burn bodies?
I am at very begining now, I found some notice in some room with inventory case a letter that you need to burn bodies. Why do I need to do it? Are zombies gonna stand up after a while? Please forgive me I play this game for the first time! Cheers! :Hand_Shake:

Yah it's probably a good idea to burn the bodies but I don't want to say much more as it would just spoil it. Hope you're enjoying the game as much as I am though!!

As Jericho said, it's a good idea to burn bodies where you will be coming back to often.
Be careful with the kerosine though, there's a limited amount of it.

You'll have to decide which ones to burn and which not.

Nope. You'll learn when playing what body is "safe to burn". Enjoy your ride.

There a 12 'uses' of kerosene in the house, more than enough to burn every zombie in pathways you revisit often. playing on very easy? you got about an hour before they crimson.
playing on hard about 10-15mins.

if you can, get zombie bodies to land on top of each other. This way you can burn multiple zombies while using only 1 kerosene

Why kill them anyway? The hunters will clear out the areas(most of them) for you.

Because you'll be making many repeat visits in the mansion until you can progress to the Guardhouse, so it's pointless to hoard the Kerosene.

Play hard mode, don't burn the zombies, and don't ever kill them with the shotgun or the magnum.

If you do not burn them, they will come back faster, stronger, and more dangerous.

If you don't visit certain areas often or can avoid them easily, you do not need to kill them at all and therefore do not need to burn them. But you'll want a clear route to the item box rooms.

Crimson heads. Burn what you can, area's you know you'll visit again.

Burning is the only way to make sure a zombie is truely dead, unless you decapitate it... who knows what the re-dead un-dead dead might do if they're not really dead? Spooooooky.

But, once you've got a bit more experience, you'll probably find it's better not to hold on to kerosine and lighter, as those two inventory slots are valuable... then you'll rely on dodging zombies, or blasting them with head bursting weaponary.
