you have some usefull tweeks for the game on pcgamingwiki , i take that for mine and it turn like butter on my entry level config ^^

Also, yes, the new REengine is uncapped, it is a rather modern engine in terms of architecture and implementation. This one here is still just a retouched version of an early MT Framework engine, the one Capcom loved to use for quite many years.
Although, to be fair, 120 fps cap when it was released was still pretty damn good. 100 Hertz monitors were still relatively uncommon. Probably Revelations 2 was the only game where the limitation really showed.
