Passion for Fashion Achievement
Okay guys, I've been spending tremendous time today on figuring out how the Passion for Fashion Achievement worked. I finished my 4th playthrough on the very same save slot, I did everything according to the book, yet it did not unlock for me. I even visited the closet with both characters, switched into every single outfit, tried starting the once again/real survival/invisible option on my save, everything to no avail.

I've read quite a few people struggling with this achie, but no one mentioned starting a new game as a solution. And I mean an ENTIRELY new game, without loading ANYTHING. As soon as the game loaded, I chose new game, and once the hallway loaded on the brand new game, POP! I finally got my 100%! Yaaaaay! :3

I am not sure if my game bugged (one of my achievements actually popped up quite late previously) or it was supposed to work this way, but I've seen no mention of it anywhere, so I thought I'll drop the info here, maybe it will help someone. ^.^

Yes, should be a common issue if you did not register this game to your REnet account and enabled upload. The achievements check the same data, but since there is no REnet integration, the checks are done when you start a new game. Revelations 1 and RE6 also like to do that sometimes.

Oh all right, I wasn't sure if it was normal. I found it weird that no one mentioned this anywhere, even though I've seen a ton of posts where people had problems getting this particular achievement. (Though most of them seemed to struggle because they did not use the same save slot.)

I also wondered about another similar problem I run into, a few days ago. That seemed like another sync issue. The Not Just Any Object achievement did not pop up right away, when I obtained the stone & metal object with Chris. I got it randomly a bit later, in my next game, while walking through a random corridor. o.O

So thanks, now I at least know why you might need to start a new game, and people having the same issue might find the info here. <3

i have yet to get this achievement, its my last one too. I will have to try the new game because i could have sworn i have beaten it enough times. I have all the costumes. Losing this fight thankfully this game isn't too long....
