BLACK BARS FIX PLEASE!

I have problem, i play in this game in resolution 1440x900, in options i have selected options "widescreen" and still have black bars in top and down my monitor. What can i do? ;c

cause widescreen is 16:9

you want 21:9 which aint happening :(

Yes, my desktop have max resolution is 1440x900 in game too, so i ask - that fix exist or i must buy new monitor, because i have fix for RE4 and it works. Hmm?

Try this,

Go to

C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\CAPCOM\Resident Evil - biohazard@HD REMASTER

Double-click on the file called "config.ini" so it opens up in Notepad

Go down until you see a section called [DISPLAY]

Now under [DISPLAY] add "Aspect=16:10" without quotations.

Make sure to save changes, and exit notepad.

Well is a little better, why? Because there black bars now is a right and left side monitor xD But problem still exist ;x I must buy new monitor, sad but true.

Oh, i fix this. I just change resolution in config.ini and now is good :D 0 black bars! Thank you guys for help! :)

4:3 or even your 16:10 is better than 16:9 because you can see more of the environment on the screen. I have 16:9 monitor but I play with original res of 4:3

16:10 is odd?
You people realize that 16:10 21" has more space than 16:9 21"?
You get fluked by the industry for years. They changed to 16:9 from 4:3 not because it's more cinematic, but because it saves A LOT of space and therefore money.
Also there was a monitor/tv cartell for over 15 years that made this possible. google it, it's a fun read with the typical results (small amount of fines.. they keep doing it)

as a 1440x900 monitor user i found a solution , download this dll file follow the guide of it and it will open a small script menu in the game expand it and go to graphics in that script menu and tick fix aspect ratio and done enjoy !! here is the link : https://community.wemod.com/t/resident-evil-village-cheats-and-trainer-for-steam/166215/2
