It's like a class based gamemode, but again. a T5 while having the same health as T2 in this, is still much better than T2 with T2 gun.

Snipers are the most expensivest, but also a unit to protect in teamfights, but if you are soloing, they usually aren't good due to opponent having automatic weapons.

Just a change from squad based gamemode into a 1 specialized soldier one. And FPS controls just show how OP it is, as opposed to AI.
