Hello to our new Steam Community! We are thrilled to be here and welcome you to the ultimate roller coaster simulator. We expect many of you have lots of questions about what we are planning for the future. To this end we will keep this thread pinned in our forums with answers to these frequently asked questions. As we encounter new common questions we will add and update the answers as we go. Feel free to ask away below and we'll be happy to respond!

Where can I download the free demo?

You can download the free demo from our main store page on our official site below:

When will you add ________ train/feature?

That's on our list of things to add! We will announce content of all updates as soon as everything is ready and a release date is set.

Will you add Oculus Rift support?

Answer: Oculus Rift is now supported!

Will you support HTC Vive?

HTC Vive is supported.

Will you create a Mac version of NoLimits 2?

Answer: Mac Version released April 17th, 2018, exclusively on Steam.

Will you create a Linux version of NoLimits 2?

Answer: No. Sorry Linux fans, we're focusing on Windows and Mac only.

I just received a ###mb update, what was in it?

From the home screen of NoLimits 2, click on Help, then News. Release notes of all updates are right there. We make official announcements when major new features are added.

We do not make an announcement when we release a maintenance update that addresses particular bugs. No matter how big or what the update is about, all of the update information is in Help > News.

When will NoLimits 2 go on sale?

Sales happen randomly. If you are interested, we suggest adding NoLimits 2 to your wish list so you get an email notification once we go on sale.

Will you put it on sale for XX% off?

Sale amounts vary, however we're sure if you like coasters you'll get your full money's worth! Look at our customer rating for some reassurance.

Can I have NoLimits 2 for free?

No.
We do offer a free demo so you can try before you buy.

When will the Professional version of NoLimits 2 be available on Steam?

Answer: Now! Purchase a Professional Version upgrade from our official site[www.nolimitscoaster.com]. Launch NoLimits from your Steam Console, click Info, then Upgrade to enter your Professional registration key.

I already bought NoLimits 2 before it launched on Steam. How can I get a Steam License?

Answer: We are no longer providing free Steam licenses for people who purchased the stand-alone version. To obtain a Steam License you will need to purchase NoLimits 2 on Steam.

So very wrong. No Limits 2 has been on sale several times over the years, including earlier this year.

I just found out this game appear to drop the price in Steam Summer Sale every year for the last 3 years. Wonder why they didn't do it this year.

I have never seen it on sale. I don't understand why anyone would feel entitled to a sale though. Either you wait and see if it goes on sale, look for Steam keys in other markets or pay full price just like every other piece of software out there. Only you can decide how much it is worth to you. For me it was on a short list of software that runs on motion simulators and it looked like a pretty fun addition to include in my library so totally worth the asking price IMHO.

While we are not participating in the Summer Sale this year, we have been in many of the major sales in the past, and will continue to do so in the future, including some surprise unannounced sales not part of a larger Steam sale. Add us to your wish list so you'll be notified automatically the next time we do go on sale!

I have not seen a update since Jan 20 in 2020.

Now that the Mac version is a Universal app rather than Intel, does that mean that NoLimits now uses Metal instead of depreciated OpenGL?

Hello, I am wondering how I can get the Attraction License? Does the Attraction License include the other Licenses as well or do I need to purchase each License separately? Thank you for your time and attention and I hope you have a nice day. ^_^
