I've just started playing this game and found that whenever I entered my details to play online the mantis.exe would crash when I typed the @ symbol in my email address, more than likely because it was trying to verify my address online and hadn't the permissions. Right click Pure Chess in your game list and browse local files. In the folder that opens up right click on Purechess.exe and then choose properties.
