Computer goes in to restart loop when X-Plane12 is launched

I haven't flown anywhere for months. Yesterday I sat down to do a flight in the default A330, got set up, started up, taxi to runway... And the sim froze up when I got to the runway. Today, set up for the same flight, but opposite end departure due to weather changes. Start up, taxi, takeoff, climbing well on autopilot. Got to around 11,000 feet and it froze again. Weird thing is it seemed to still be talking to Little Navmap. Both times, it showed the aircraft marker, ground speed, etc but standing still...

Hi fellow aviators. Was wondering if there are any freeware aircraft for x-plane 12 that you guys use, i already have and use the zibo 737 and couple of others. Leave your favorite freeware aircraft in the comments, i'd be glad to expand my aircraft collection :)...
