I wanted something more dynamic that better captures the energy and chaos of the game, so here it is.

Playtest Feedback

5 removal tokens is a bit too steep. Maybe do 3 the first round, 4 the second round, then 5 after. The coin cost curve is also too steep. It's too easy to scrub out early before getting your engine built. Maybe reduce the ramp-up or make round 1 and 2 longer to give you more time to stack coins as a buffer and to build up your engine and removal tokens. Some Ideas for Improvement

The concept is really fun, but in the game's current state there's several little things that compound to lead to some aggravation. Here's my thoughts on what could be improved and how. - Let the player pick their trash upgrade. Not only would this make sure they know what the trash that was added does, but it also feels more in line with the strategic synergy building that these games are built around. - The action side of gameplay feels pretty off. What's the thought process behind the time based gameplay?

Are there even time based claw machines irl? Now, I can kinda get why you might want it: it makes for hectic gameplay and force the player to make some split second decisions. However I feel like it also removes some of the best part of claw machine games and clashes with certain designs: - It means that the retrieval/release part is totally removed - major part of a claw machine experience is to see the crane wobbling along and the items fall into the payout hole. Good start, but needs balancing.

I love the game, the aesthetic, the concept, buuuut the change from 20 gold to 150 gold is a bit steep, and the "freight truck backing up" sound is too grating. Other than that, looking forward to what comes next!
