+ 1 to the modding community...as tony says...their great
Lol, with the rise of the DS4 pc compatibility and the fact this game was exclusive to PS3 you would think that this would be the native and xbox button icons optional.
I would appreciate it myself. I'm using a PS2 controller with an adapter to play on PC and because of driver issues it won't work properly in modern games unless I emulate a 360 controller. I've gotten used to it to the point where I can play any game just fine (Helps that I know the position of both setups by muscle memory), but yeah, it's still a bit annoying.
By the way: I'm still using Dual Shock 1. Yes, from PSX.
I've used a controller for a long time, so it's not the button layout that I have an issue with, it's just the look. I prefer seeing the playstation button icons over the xbox button icons.
Ha, that makes a sony fanboy I guess.
They pretty much have market share here, because juuuust about everyone uses an X360 controller if they do any controller-required gaming on PC. Understandable that you'd want that for preference's sake though. I think in this case though, it's kind of a first-world-problem next to 'Let's just be glad Sega is still making games this awesome, or in fact at all, and hope for further conversions or new content to hit steam as time goes by'.
However the fact that SEGA staff went so far to make sprites for PC Keyboard controls as well for control mapping is excellent. *points to Capcom* See this... SEGA knows how to port. lol
I read an article today, by the modder that made the DSFix for Dark Souls, explaining how impressive this port was compared to other console ported games.
SEGA seems to have out did themselves for some reason.
I figured as much, since most games do not support this option. Wishful thinking.
