"System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" means something in the code was null and not found or not set correctly, so it can't finish setting up the ritual. There should be measures in

The error log seems to suggest that the ritual seat is not present. Something it expects to exist was not found, whatever it is, maybe one of the required pieces

inconsistent to me as well and I can't find what is causing it. RimPy does not show any error.

I kind of gave up and haven't tried to play for weeks now because of this.

Just a minute ago I tried loading a save and got hit with an error saying that the map could not be generated.
