Discussions, Bugs, and Mod Talk.
Hey folks Ramsi here again, this time not in a news alert that will make ten of you throw a fit.

So here's the thing, because someone brought it up:

If you're looking for regular responses to thoughts you have, bug reports, or a mod you're using you should go to the forums at https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php

See, that was even bolded to make it much more obvious on how important that is! On here most of you are just going to be talking to other Steam users, and while that's great.. Tynan is a very busy dev. He doesn't always have time to talk on here because of how much work he's investing into the game.. and eating. Sometimes the man eats!

Our forum has a lot more activity, is often bustling with everyone who was part of the community before Steam, and also has Tynan far more active (still not that active) as opposed to on here.

Let me make it very clear that nobody is saying that you aren't supposed to use the RimWorld Community Hub, just that if you're looking for more reasonable responses, help, or to even talk to a mod maker you'll have far more luck at https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php

Do you have an issue with Mods from the Workshop?
Post directly to the Mod Maker in their respective Mod Workshop page, we don't dabble in hand holding for our content creators and as such can not directly help you.

Thanks everyone, just wanted to let folks know there are other options for the sake of communication outside of the Community Hub, also if you own the game there is little reason for you to not use the official forums from time to time.

I can access steam discussions faster while ingame. Shift-Tab and click on the discussions button. Still, the amount of bugs people have reported on the ludeon forums so far is staggering. It's quite understandable why Tynan has so little time (poor guy really needed that christmas holiday).

I think it will be really cool when players can see gyms for dwellers or send prisoners for labor. You know, things about liberty and freedoms will make game more social.

I bought this game a few months ago and decided to get a refund (sorry!). anyway, I noticed it was still in my library, so out of curiousity I clicked "properties" and I was able to browse local files and find "rimworld.exe" still on my computer. I clicked that, the game started up, and I got a message saying the game was playable but could not connect to steam so would not get any stats/achievements etc. Just wanted to let you know about this since I'm sure you don't want people refunding the game and playing basically in offline mode!

wheni load in it just goes to a pink screen, unable to play. all i have is my mouse cursor and apink screen..... help

Is Architect Sense successfully negotiating that injection of Floored and More Floors? (In Yellow)

Does anybody have an idea if Humanoid Alien Races and Rimfactions still function together? (The Red)

I'm pretty sure it's the extra races creating issues, stuff like Rimfactions/Faction Discovery/More Vanilla factions has never acted up on me before.

The Nature of that log is that it pops up affter i hit 'Generate' on the map, no combonation of settings in the generator has any effect on the log. Also, it's not instant, i don't click it and instantly get a log, so the error is happening towards the end of the map generation process, i figure, most likely during faction placement.

Your best bet is to post these logs in a thread in the /bugs/mod bugs/ sub forum on the ludeon site. Could even try posting directly in the thread(s) of the mod(s) you think are the problem(s).
