Whats the best character editor mod and why?

I'm doing a thing where I base pawns of specific people but I'm unsure what character editor mod would be best. Currently I'm using "character editor" but idk if there's a better mod out there for it.

Character Editor is the best IMO even though there's some minor issues with a few edits not saving properly on occasion. It's a more robust tool than Prepare Carefully and can be used at any time. There's very few parameters that the character editor by VOID can't modify, including changing equipment values.

Big fan of Pawn Editor, but Character Editor is more useful if you are messing with custom Xenotypes and want to edit in the game quicker

Used to be a mod called Prepare Carefully i think it was? i remember using it a lot.

You shouldn't use Prepare Carefully anymore, because it can cause save file corruption if you have any kind of mod that alters the data in pawns.

Character Editor and Pawn Editor are perfectly fine to use, however. I haven't used Pawn Editor myself, so I can't give the comparison between the two, but people seem generally happy with both of them, so I figure they're roughly equal.

I use Character Editor but have also heard good things about Pawn Editor. As others have said, may want to avoid Prepare Carefully as it apparently alters how pawns are created and may cause issues down the road.

Dont use Prepare Carefully. I found it messes with the events somehow. It makes duplicate events happen.

Now that can be really bad. Oh that raid of 100 tribals. It is now 200.

I'll always use Prepare Carefully, still works really well for me

Prepare Carefully has long been outdated and buggy. Character Editor is the best currently. Pawn Editor is still being developed so some day it will probably be the best
