how do I get sleepless pawns to breed?

Made some pawns who never sleep. problem is they also don't go in a bed so as far as I can tell they will never mate so they are effectively sterile?

If you get pregnant while you are asleep, I'm reasonably sure that may be a crime.
Although this is Rimworld. Crimes seem to be the norm.

There is a reserach Fertility or something like that.
It lets you do what brian_va is talking about.
Once you have it researched there is an operation on the female to extract an egg. Then once its on the floor select a male and have him fertilize it.

The answer is double beds in the hospital or not having a hospital temporarily so they recover in their bedroom with their spouse. Depends whether both are sick/injued at the same time or not and if both are sleepless I suppose. Other then that artificial only.

Get a random bionic body part, forbids it, get the wife and husband whoever has sleepless into surgery, both should have the "Rest here" on the double bed as option.

If wife is sleepless yet the husband is not, extract the ovum yet it runs a risk of female becoming infertile if surgery fails, the egg can then be fertilized by the husband, then all you need is just plant it back inside the female.

If husband is sleepless, same procedure as 2nd.

what tech do i need to unlock for the ovum operation? I don't have the option when I look at the possible operations. I have all the dlc so it's not the issue. I am neolithic though so I don't know never messed with that before.

You need "Fertility Procedures". You don't need to put the fertilised ovum back into the original pawn either, you can use a surrogate or research and use a growth vat.
