Hair below outer layer

I'm confused. Pawns with long hair hide said hair under their coats and jackets and stuff. Basically under any wearable that occupies the outer layer. But only when facing north. has it always been this way? I was playing with mods until I saw it and couldn't unsee it for the fast few days so I tried to mess with my mods to find out the culprit. Didn't find anything so I disabled everything aside from Character Editor (and thusly Harmony too) to get quicker access to pawns with longer hair. Even then the problem persists so I guess it's...working as intended? Or is it because of one of those two mods? A pawn with long hair puts said hair unter their dusters and stuff?

Nope, it's not because of any mods at all. Tried it again with everything disabled aside from the official DLC's.

I'm having the exact same problem and I'm getting insane over it, I found some people on the comment section of the mod "Dubs Apparel Tweaks" saying that in 1.5 a code that made clothes to render under the hair got deleted and the clothes with outer layers got affect by it, they said they managed to fix it by patching with some code and stuff but I couldn't understand anything what they' re saying lol.

This mod has lots of options for hair placement. You might give it a try and see if changing some of them fixes it for you.

I don't think that mod will help at all. It does nothing to change what depth (layer) the hairs, or anything else, is drawn on. All it does is change the flags to hide the hair, or not.

Sadly it only affect the headgears and hair, the problem is with the outer layer clothes on torso section, like armors, robes, capes, etc. They render over head, hair and even headgear apparels.
