warning for surgical implants that will remove other implants
For those of us who like to modify ourselves.

I dont know which implants would remove which. Like yeah installing a bionic arm on the right arm would replace the prosthetic arm sure, but will installing a healing enhancer replace an aesthetic shaper?

It would be nice if it would be shown in the surgery menu. For that last example, it would be something like
install healing enhancer (torso) (replaces aesthetic shaper)
assuming it actually does replace something.

Yeah, there's this mod for a better inventory

It pretty much does what you're asking for, health & implants should have something like this as well.

the rpg style inventory is a bit too much for me. I just want to know what doing certain surgeries are going to do. I dont want a better inventory just a "heads up youll lose this if you install that other thing"

When you look at the implant details, it tells you what it replaces, if anything.

Have a look at things like hand talon, elbow spike, field hand, imunoenhancers, etc. They tell you exactly what will be removed.

This is why you can not replace a drill arm with a field hand or hand talon.

For the most part, if it's not obvious then it doesn't replace it. I think armor glands are the only questionable one, those don't stack. All the other head/torso implants stack because they aren't part replacers, they are just implants.

So yes, healing enhancer and aesthetic shaper stack, you can also install an armor gland, coagulator, and love enhancer.
