I have no idea but they are bound to be less terrible compared to Rim War
You can install them and see, I think they can be uninstalled without too much of a hassle.
Rim War is an amazing idea. It just destroys your tps.
I wouldn't say that. The mods dont appear in the list, that just means nobody bothered to test them / note them down as slow on the dubs discord.
Rim War noticeably alters your performance, perhaps not at lower speeds or with smaller colonies but it significantly takes up more resources than you'd otherwise expect.
The only reason I'd really want to use Rim War is for the advanced raid warning, realistic faction proximity raiding and realistic trading. I can't really be too bothered with the other functions tbh. It's interesting for sure as a simulation experiment but it's not something I think significantly improves the colony experience.
