Not sure if it will work but it does for me.
I'd be 100% satisfied with x1 and x4 options, just like with meal cooking. I just want a way to configure "Do until X" and which actually require a pawn to take the time to do. Pretty much none of the nutrient paste dispensery mods that I'm aware of include either of those options as functionality.
My only reason for having no interest in Vanilla Nutrient paste expanded has nothing to do with 'how much' it produces, but rather that it turns what is a simple, singular machine in the vanilla game into much more than that. I don't need (nor want) all of that extra stuff in my game just to get some nutrient paste.
The mod description right there explains it was created specifically to showcase the whole "pipe network" code of VE....I'm not interested in building a pipe network.
Absent anyone sharing a mod that does exactly what I want, I ended up going with this one:

It adds bills for x1 and x4 production, exactly like what I was looking for. The only thing wrong with it is that it doesn't use the actual nutrient paste machine, which is what I would prefer. It does at least require you have completed the research for nutrient paste, so it's close enough to satisfy me.
