Save my brain damaged priest
I have RimWorld of Magic mod installed and recruited a priest that has 80% chemical damage to his brain. He's been laying in bed maxing his skills but can't move. Is there some way to get him up long enough to let him cast purify on himself?

I have a chaos mage I could keep trying to get purify. I also have a physically adept pawn that I could try to find a faceless tome for, copy the priest's purify ability, and use it on him. I don't want to resort to luciferium.

Is there an easier solution I'm not thinking of?

Consulting the table of healing options[rimworldwiki.com], it looks like chemical damage to not-the-kidneys is treatable only by healer mech serum in vanilla. No idea if your mods add something else or remove it.

You can always install character editor and just remove the damage.

If you don't cheat luciferin is the answer for everything medical

It's good for scars and age-related illness, not good for chemical damage apparently.

You could do a brain transplant

Will a brain transplant let the pawn keep his priest abilities?

I was hoping there was some way to pump him full of flake or yayo enough to get his consciousness up long enough to cast purify on himself but I guess that's not going to work?

I want to thank you... I'm completely unfamiliar with this mod (had no idea it existed), and reading through this thread has been bizarrely entertaining (maybe because I'm really really tired right now).

Once again, thank you. You made my night.

P.S. I'm rooting for your brain damaged character now! hope you find a solution.

Yeah as far as I understand it you keep your character they just have to adjust to a new brain.

Brain transplants aren't vanilla and it also makes no sense that someone would be the same person after getting a different brain.

The OP's first sentence is "I have Rimworld of Magic". That should tell you that reality is out to lunch, dude.

What if luciferin don't fix it that mod needs an update lol That is point of the stuff its miracle but you can never stop taking it once you start. I mean that what makes rimworld fun, but moders never go that far sigh, its why I like the new stuff being vanilia not a mod its gonna get some harsh Rimworld stuff put on it none this pros, and annoying things bits some moders do. Everything will have pro and con that makes you think twice

Thanks! The brain stimulator did not work, still couldn't walk. The AI chip worked like a charm though. As soon as the anesthetic wore off he claimed his own bedroom, used purify to cure his own brain damage, and will be treating my other injured pawns as his arcane weakness allows.
