Visitors and traders should not have keys to all of my doors.
If a visitor/trader doesn't have food in their inventory, they will steal your most expensive lavish/packaged meals directly from your fridge.
They will also bring their pack animals into your dining rooms, creating filth everywhere.
And their animals will be able to eat all of your growing devilstrand and kibble, if they don't find enough grass outside.

And there is no way to stop them, as they ignore any restrictions and forbidden items/doors.

I had a slave that wasn't given any food, because I was planning to sell him to the Shattered Empire anyway. Let them feed him once they purchase him.

Except as soon as I sold him, he instantly ran to the fridge and started devouring my best meals that were reserved for my best colonists. He ignored the fact that they were forbidden. And I couldn't beat him up for it, because the Empire would get mad at me.

There should be an option for doors to prevent them from being opened by anyone outside of your faction.

Even my own penned cows will not eat the food that I mark as forbidden, Are the visitors literally dumber than animals?

They only do so when in range of a table, unless you have a mod that makes them do so.

So use trading spot to put them in a specific area far away from your stuff.

Thanks, but this still doesn't stop beggars from stealing my food when they are hungry. They will gladly walk across the entire map to get to my fridge. And if the vegetation outside is sparse, their animals will beeline straights for my crops.

The "Locks" mod makes the game lag very hard and breaks pathfinding. I'm just asking for a vanilla feature to prevent visitors from acting like they are owners in my home.

I've never seen this behavior. They always eat their own food and the animals don't go near my growing plots. Are you using shelves? They make a huge mess though as they use my tables and chairs to eat. Some of this is related base design probably. My current base just has one door to the outside world and they don't even enter my base.

If for some reason the goods are outside of the home area, traders might consume them.

They stole from you and you didn't punish them?
Tsk tsk.

To be fair, if I was a psychic royal slavemonger, I'd demand any slaves come with a full belly instead of dying of malnutrition.

As for the rest, it's very odd for beggars to come in and grab food. Were they sticking around an abnormally long time?

To enter my base, all must pass through my gas chamber. Autobong, rotting corpses, and toxic gas. Any who make it through are welcome to share my food.

I dunno man. If someone willingly walks through all that are you sure you want them near your food?
