Will Biotech be modified by other DLC?
Is there a chance we'll get different ideologies from Biotech or somehow have nobles that are also Xenohumans? I could see some Memes being for or against Xenohumans for example or a noble mission requiring a colony aid or hinder certain Xenohumans.

That's what I'm wondering as well. The new biotech update should introduce some new precepts and possibly even memes to cross pollinate with the ideology DLC imho.

Maybe have 'human purity' as a meme or 'Flesh Purity' updated where you're not encouraged to keep xenohumans as colonists around

Or

'Xeno adaption' where its the opposite and everyone desires to be genetically altered so as to better adapt to the environment similar to the desire of transhumanists to be machines but instead for genetic modifications.

More precepts like whether having kids is a good thing or a bad thing for the 'Guilt' meme (lol). More humans just means more suffering and more guilt after all ... Hey I didn't make the rules.

Precepts or mechanics regarding mechanitors as they require body implants which should go against the flesh purity meme as well.

There's probably a bunch of other memes and precepts which need to be added or considered to cross pollinate successfully and keep everything tied together.

I don't hope that Tynan goes the way most developers do and just pretend like there's no such thing as cross pollination or cross integration of different DLC / expansions. That's one of the most annoying parts about developers where they just forget that they have old content that needs to be updated and integrated with the new.

That's one of my beefs with mods too, you get so much content that don't interact where it logically should. Tynan did add some compatibility between Royalty and Ideology though, like how you can set rituals to possibly reward you by fully recharging psycasters for example. Hopefully similar considerations will be made between Biotech and the older expansions.

New ideology rituals related to biotech mechanics were confirmed with the first teaser. That's all we know so far, but it's safe to assume they were thinking about other expansions while developing this one. If there are new rituals there are probably new memes and ritual rewards, which also means there are probably new precepts related to those memes. I wouldn't expect a lot, it might just be one or two memes and a couple precepts, I don't think they want to lock too much content behind multiple DLC purchases.

Presumably they'll work together, I'll be testing the interoperability of Ideology's skullspikes with Biotech's furries on day one.

"We made sure to design all the character-oriented enhancements so they can be used freely in any combination. We are very much looking forward to the stories of people making their favorite colonist into a royal, a psycaster, a priest, a mechanitor, a unique xenotype, and a sanguophage all at once."

I could see Body Purists getting more mileage out of this DLC for sure.
