In main menu, in the options you can select to 'open save game folder'
Look for <your colony name>.rws file.
You need to open it in a more advanced text editing program. Notepad++ is the free program I use.
hit ctrl+f once open to bring up the search menu. Search for:
<First>Baby</first>
You will need to know the last names to help identify easily as last name will be right underneath. If you have two 'baby' with same colonist, then there will be something if you are okay at reading code for age, else probably the first one in the search.
Just replace the 'baby' in the above code line with the name you want, and then save. Load it up and all works.
Now, there might be unforeseen side effects I do not know. Most likely history logs will not change. But any interactions with the code should be looking for that pawn's ID and not the name.

I was surprised in my tests runs that most time they got a name fitting to the parents. First Mother was named Kiriku and Baby has also a fitting name with similar origne, Second was called Naja, and a boy Willis after his father, all by the game.
