Can't sell animals (Cats)

I had lots of cat join my colony, (10) but i cant sell them for some reason.
I can sell my fox, and other items but not the cats.

OK, now i can, after the trade caravan desided to leave, still kinda odd

Trade caravans only buy specific animals now.

yep, there is certain problem with cats. they nearly doubled their population since they (10 cats) have joined my colony. more cats are coming, and I don't want to kill them. while "nuzzled" status has appeared amazingly useful (it stacks, and whole colony is happy, being nuzzled several times during workday), it's becoming hard to find food for that swarm. ~20 cats can eat approximality 3 pawn corpses in a couple of days, so now I'm eagerly waiting to caravan, which could buy my cats, and to more raids, to stock up bodies.

kill off the males (or female) can continuously kill off the rest of the cat until you can confident to feed them. Small animals mate like rabbits in this game.

Sad but true, however, I have a better solution:
Pod the excess of them into enemy territory with one pawn and then leave them attacking and eating pirates
