Moving Resources between Tiles/Settlements
Is there a way (mod?) that allows the transportation of resources between tiles/settlements? My main settlement is out of steel and deep drilling 300 per deposit isn't cutting it, so I setup a FOB at a neighboring tile where I've mined a bunch of steel. However, transporting the material back to main base is brutal...only a few dozen can be transported by my caravan at a time.

Any suggestions on how to make things work better? Thanks.

vanilla options:
* transport pods. (quick, but inefficient)
* more animals for the caravans. elephants ect can carry a lot of weight.
* weight compression (if desperate) e.g. Trade resources for weight by build steel furniture & transport that instead & then deconstructing at destination- sure you don't get all the resources back on deconstruction, but it is the most weight efficient way of transporting lots of raw materials.
* If you have a royal with transport shuttle perk, those can carry a large amount of weight.
- note you can often take a lot of resources back with you on assault missions that transport you via shuttle.

** additional sources of steel:
** using the coms console to request bulk traders which often sell steel
** smelting
