Soft sand to normal sand?

Is there some item that converts soft sand to normal sand?

The Moisture Pump is used on Soft Sand in the same way as marsh or shallow water.

except you can build bridge on those as well which will support walls and floors, at least last i played you could. but you cant build bridge on sand.

The new update changes what can be placed on bridges , pretty sure if i updated to 1.1 on my old game and loaded it up half my walls would crumble because you can no longer place stone walls on bridges.

What is already on bridges in old games will not cause problems, you just can't add new things on to bridges. Also really guys? A 1.5 year old post?
