Just want to reiterate that this is correct. The initial acceptance time limit is confusing because it seems like the challenge would be completing the trade within that amount of time.
Trade quests are like building quests: the amount of time to complete them is distinct from the acceptance limit. The problem is trade quests don’t clearly state the expiry limit in the body of the text. I think this is a holdover from the 1.0 version of trade quests.
Also, there’s no downside to failing to complete a trade quest AFAIK.
Also also, you can’t send transport pods without a pawn to fulfill the quest. You have to send a pawn with the goods, like a regular caravan, and you have to have enough capacity to caravan with the rewards.
