EPOE brain surgery

Does anyone know if there's a mod that allows the installation of things such as joywires and painstoppers without needing EPOE research?

You can create a custom scenario that makes you start with the brain surgery research.
(Unless it's not its own research, I use EPOE forked)

I'm pretty sure that also automatically researches all prior research that requires it, including microelectrics. Not what I'm looking for.

I believe if you have dev mod enabled you can just instantly complete the required research.

I just tested it out and it doesn't complete the previous research, so I think it will work for you. Sorry I couldn't answer earlier, I had to go somewhere.
