Rimworld animals aren't equal to real life animals. Does an adult lynx weight 56 kilograms in real life?

its still unfair that every feline in the game has advance inteligence and longer lifespan and lynx does not

Cats are quite smart, you just need to understand how to communicate with them.

I've seen a cat run face first into a screen, jump into the air like the screen attacked it, and repeat it.

TWICE.

Nobody said that they were wise

Cats are smart enough to know they don't need to work, people will just feed and shelter them because they're cute and nice to be around. Talking about cats.

You don't train cats. Cats train you.

I'm not ashamed to say. One of my dogs does this. He just gets really excited and forgets it's a screen, okay? My cat just watches from his throne and judges all of us.

Interesting fact about cats and dogs:
People like dogs because they're loyal and friendly. What's curious is that this is pretty much entirely instinctive; a dog considers its owner part of its pack and is friendly (arguably loving) towards them by default.

Many cat owners, including myself, will tell you that their cats were just as loyal and loving as dogs. The difference is that none of it is instinctive at all. Everything a cat does to show affection for its owner, from knowing its name to seeking attention, is learned from scratch (no pun intended).

One could argue, therefore, that whether cats are intelligent in general or not, they're more loving than dogs. A dog likes you because its instincts tell it to; a cat likes you because it likes you.

Let's get this straight.

A cat doesn't like you, a cat pretends to like you so it can spend most of his day laying on the couch while you are his slave.

Cats are pretty intelligent, though I myself prefer seeing the reaction of my dog when I come home rather than the lazy "oh he came back time to get up from the couch and pretend like I care" response from a cat lol.
