RocketMan basically preempts ticks and checks, meaning that instead of checking 16 times every second for everything (which is the default, I think), it checks most things once a second - or even once every 2-3 seconds. This can help system slowdown TREMENDOUSLY. After all, what's the difference if Rimworld is checking for Fire in your Home Zone 16 times a second or only once a second, since Fire doesn't spread 16 squares in one second?
I mean, seriously. How filthy can your kitchen get in 3 seconds? Are you parading hordes of elephants through there while you're cooking? XD
Step 2: Restrict slave area to the kitchen and slave bunk.
Step 3: Profit?
If he doesn't do his job wel then pit him in a gladiator fight against your other slaves. Winner gets to clean the kitchen. Sounds like a good deal right?
Also, each time you get food poisoning you can decide to take a limb from your slave. I started with an eye. Then an ear. Then an arm. I'm slowly creating a frankenstein monster, which in time will only get out of his slave bunk for gladiator fights. My naughty slave already has earned the name : The Freak. Soon he will be every slave's nightmare.
Stuff like this writes great stories. Through hardship they will evolve. Mad about the dirty kitchen? Punish the slave that is responsible for it's hygiene.
