There's plenty of alien race mods out there already, but feel free to add more. There's Star Wars races, Mass Effect races, Warcraft races, all sorts of cute anime anthropomorphic races, races from sci fi, fantasy, and horror....
Just gotta do a little searching, mate. :D
There are more than that, of course, but I think it's a pretty good place to start.
Thanks so much, it can be hard sometimes to find stuff on the workshop
Honestly, it's so much easier just Googling stuff. You can put in "rimworld workshop (or mod)" and then whatever you want, and Google will pull things up a lot more easily than the Steam Workshop browser will. Plus, you can open multiple tabs and right-click to open in new tab and stuff without having to deal with Steam's mid-90's-era browser capabilities.
Right? One thing I wish the Steam Workshop had is the ability to see what mods require the mod you're viewing, like Nexus does. You could see a list of every mod that requires HAR, for example.
I was also going to suggest looking at race mod collections.
