Stuck on generating world

It’s generating the world and I haven’t changed my mod playlist from my last play through but when I click start new game it on the page and the animated generating world bits it’s been like 5 hours and it’s still not finishing “I’ve tried 3 times and this happened”

Anyone know why this could be happening or know what types of mods I should be looking for that might cause this?

usually conflicting mods will do this

check if a mod you have updated recently, then see if removing fixes it.

Workshop>Subscribed items, there will be a sort option

So I’m confused I’m removing tons of recently updated mods and none of that is helping, it’s just still just generating, ima try removing all my mods reinstalling and validating so see if it helps.

make sure every mod matches your current version then read them all to see if anything could overlap or say incompatible with so and so

I managed to fix many of the things where I can amke a game but when It finishes generating world it goes straight to choosing idiology and when I click back it shows me the map for a second then forces me back to choose idiology. what could cause something like that?

no idea, but Rimpy can show u collision / outdated / wrong version mods what can probably do what u describe ..and can help u even sort mods

For me it was either the real ruins mod or vanilla skills expanded. Not sure which one but after I disabled both of those I no longer had this problem.
