Game in windowed mode?

So I'm new here (hello!) and I was wondering if there was a way to set the game to windowed mode? This seems like the perfect game to play while doing something else but I looked through the settings and dont see the option to change from full screen.

hmm. Doesn't seem to work. I've been googling around and saw posts online telling me a variety of things like put -windowed or windows w something something in the launch options but none of them seem to be working. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong (I go in the properties general tab)

Have you tried launching the game, go into Options, and unchecking "Fullscreen"?

faaaaaaack. I'm an absolute dumb ass lol. I swear, I was checking and re-checking the options and it seems like my brain went "nope, we do not see it"

EDIT: I unchecked full screen yet it is still on full screen. This is odd

I regularly run RW as a 1280x960 window, with no issues. Did you remember to also lower the resolution of the window? Otherwise, it'll still fill the entire screen ^^' .

Yeah, a 1920x1080 window on a 1920x1080 screen will still take up the entire screen. Lower the resolution and you should, in theory, be fine.

Ah, that must have been the issue. It was weird because last night I was playing, thinking full-screen off option didn't work until I exited the game and saw another instance of the game open but in window mode. Dunno how that happened but it works now. Thanks yall!

Yes, that is another setting you can turn on or off in the options.

all I did was add -windowed to my advanced launch options and it works
