But if you've played a good few hours and didn't like it, it's probably not for you. I bought the game in 2016 when it had substantially less content and was hooked to the point of playing for 30 hours over 3 days. But it's certainly not for everyone.
If you do not enjoy the game don't buy it and don't play it. It's as simple as that.
Played on friends acc. For admins. Im just not sure if I want to use 50€ on it.
Still, it´s a rather unusual game, and if it isn´t your thing it´ll most likely change in a way that makes it your thing.
Really depends on your style of what type of games you like, Most people enjoy the game and with mods it can be even better theres alot of mods that add plenty of lategame/world content that the vanilla DOES lack, you don't have to try and escape, i don't really play rimworld anymore to try and escape as fast as possible its fun just going around the world and raiding bases and with the rimcity mod it adds HUGE bases that you can raid but extremely hard. Vanilla can get boring after a couple of playthroughs but the game isn't really meant to be played super competetively more of just a relaxing single player game to play
If you played it for hundreds of hours buy it to support the dev... christ almighty. Why are you even questioning any of this if you have played it for "100's of hours", you have more experience then most of us.
TROLL
A lot of people pirate games. I do too. Who cares ?
OP, if you've played it for hundreds of hours already, you should know the answer by now. If you don't like it but you can't put it away, a feeling I know all too well with some games, just save yourself a severe case of buyer's remorse and get it on a deep sale. Or keep pirating it, can't stop you from doing that.
