i dont like how people act like these kinds of atrocities dont happen in real life, and i never want them to happen.
still, i think it would be an amazing mechanic if your colonists could raise families instead of just being related to random people on the world. or only recruiting prisoners and by chance a wanderer or drop pod, etc
in my case i raised 5 kids i wasnt able to get out of sickbay for 5 years(!!) and colonist spent like 15% of their worktime caring for the children instead beeing productive members when eventually hell broke loose directly in sickbay with bugs crawling out from directly under their beds and killing them :-/ Proved me children are right with monsters under their bed.

I have it. And it's great.
But if you no longer want it it breaks your save game. :(
Raids also have lots of kids in them
And lot of grown Pawns look like children sometimes
I am assumeing that the kids grow up at some point right, and not stay a child forever?
